‘’I was into buying and selling of male and female footwear after I graduated from the university because white collar job was not forthcoming. I enrolled into Green YAGEP and God used the programme as a big life support to boost my business.
“Seven years after establishment, I have expanded from having two earthen ponds with 2000 fish to five earthen ponds with 4000 fish. I had challenges of flood of which I lost some of my fish. I thank God I am still in business and I am progressing.
“I have made lots of sales and I save 200,000 whenever I harvest my fish every 4 months; I have two staff that I pay on monthly basis. I conveniently pay my rent and support my family. I have trained two of my siblings in the university. I bought a plot of land for expansion.
“I diversified into cassava farming; I have one acre of land where I plant cassava. Every six months I process the cassava into fufu then take it to the market to sell. I want to thank the State Government for the opportunity given to me through Green YAGEP.”
