As a way of fine-tuning the quality of education in the local government area, the Chairman of Warri North, Mr Aduge Okorodudu has inaugurated a 13-man education committee to assist in the provision of quality education to children.
The council boss, who made the inauguration in Koko, headquarters of Warri North, charged members of the committee to be serious with the task ahead of them because of the strategic place of education in laying foundation for building the future of children.
Okorodudu, who was represented by the Vice Chairman of the council, Mr sunny Abilo said the committee was set up in line with the Governor Ifeanyi Okowa’s vision of providing quality education to all Deltans and to restore the pride in education in Warri North .
He said the committee is made up of men of integrity and seasoned educationists with Elder Sam Bobi as chairman and E. A. Madamedon as Secretary respectively, while Mr Frank Olu was also appointed Chairman of Warri North LG Revenue Waterways Committee.
Speaking on behalf of his members, the chairman of the committee Elder Sam Bobi thanked the council boss for the opportunity given to them to serve and promised that the committee will work acidiously to achieve their terms of reference.
The occasion was attended by party chieftains, clergies, legislators including the Leader of Warri North LGA legislative arm, Hon. Jolomi Esiategiwa, the Head of Personnel Management Warri North LGA, Mr Onetesirosan D. Akambe and others.
