UDUAGHAN, NWAOBOSHI DIFFER ON MINISTERIAL NOMINEES’ LIST:
Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan and state chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have expressly disagreed over the recent ministerial nominees’ list sent from the state to Abuja, on consultative grounds.

While Nwaoboshi claims that he was not aware of the nominations as he was not consulted before the list was forwarded to Abuja, Governor Uduaghan observed that he consulted with the state party chairman and that he has evidence of the consultation.

Nwaoboshi said “I have received over 400 telephone calls since morning about the list. I was shocked because I don’t know anything about this list.

“I had told the people to remain calm. As I said earlier, as the Chairman of the party, I was not aware about the list.”

For Uduaghan, “The letter for nomination was directed to me to recommend names and I take responsibility for it. I consulted widely even with the state party chairman before I drew up the list. It was based on an instruction given to me from Abuja.”

The PDP ministerial nominees from Delta state include Echegile Godson, Onyemaechi, Godwill Obielum, Mariam Nneamaka Ali, Elder Godsday Orubebe, Faith Tuedor-Matthews, Chief Solomon Ogba, Young Igbrude, Williams Makinde, Barr. Ovie Omo-Agege, Elizabeth Uvoh-Gardner.
