Senator Ned Nwoko has made it clear that his leadership is anchored on a people-centered agenda, prioritizing the needs and aspirations of the good people of Delta North. His commitment to Anioma’s development and representation remains unwavering, even amidst the barrage of attacks and distractions that have plagued the political space.

It is important to remind the Anioma people that these political skirmishes are not new, especially within the PDP, where internal conflicts have often overshadowed the true purpose of governance. Now, even as Senator Nwoko takes deliberate and informed steps towards joining the APC, jitters and baseless accusations are already emerging from those who feel threatened by his leadership and vision.

Senator Nwoko’s leadership role, earned through his dedication to service and his position as the highest elected officer in Delta North, places him at the forefront of political discourse. His focus, however, remains on the people—ensuring that his constituency receives its rightful share of development and opportunities.

It must be emphasized that Senator Ned Nwoko is a globally recognized leader and an accomplished individual. He is not seeking personal gains or contracts; his deliberate exit from the PDP and his strategic move toward the APC are entirely motivated by his desire to better serve Delta North. These steps are informed by his goal of ensuring that Anioma people get what is due to them in the grander scheme of national development.

Senator Nwoko has reiterated that his actions are for the collective good of Anioma land. His vision is for the region to achieve greater autonomy and independence, which aligns with the aspirations of creating a new state for Anioma people. This is a cause that requires unity, commitment, and an unwavering focus on the future.

We, therefore, call on all Delta Northerners to remain informed, united, and steadfast in their support for this collective vision. The road ahead requires collaboration and dedication, and under Senator Nwoko’s leadership, Anioma stands poised to achieve greater heights and lasting progress.
