PVCs Collection: Delta Govt Declares Public Holiday

Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan of Delta State, has approved Friday March 6, 2015, as work free day for workers in the State Public Service to enable them go to their various places of registration to collect their Permanent Voters Card (PVCs).PVCs

A statement signed by Mr. Paul Osahor, Director of Information and made availabe to Blank NEWS Online on 4th February, 2015 reads:

“It is hereby announced for the information of the general public, particularly Deltans, that His Excellency, Dr. Emmanuel Eweta Uduaghan, CON, Governor of Delta State, has approved Friday March 6, 2015, as work free day for workers in the State Public Service.

This is to enable workers in the State go to the places where they registered to collect their Permanent Voters Card (PVCs).

Accordingly, workers in the State Public Service who registered but have not collected their Permanent Voters Card are by this announcement advised to take advantage of the work free day declared by the State Government to visit the Wards in the Local Government Areas where they registered to collect their Permanent Voters Card.

Government has also advised eligible voters in the State who registered but have not collected their Permanent Voters Card to do so before the expiration of March 8, 2015 date stipulated by INEC.”
