Christians across the country have been enjoined to put their trust in God who only is our final peace and solutions.
The Associate Pastor of the Bethel Baptist church, Sapele Delta State Rev. E. Okpara gave this advice to his congregation on the occasion of the Bethel Baptist Soul Winning Band week long Activities with it’s theme ,” Peace Be Still” at the Church auditorium, Oghene Road Sapele.
The Renowned Preacher who dwell on the theme he titled “, Deeply” took his text from the scripture in the book of Mark chapter 4 verses 35-39.
The Cleric told the congregation that war, problems, troubles, sickness, barren and unpleasant experiences are typical examples of storms in humans life, emphasizing that storm is the absence of peace in the life of individual.
He urged believers in Christ to put their trust in God who he said with Him God, all things are possible, adding that” with Jesus in your boat, storm will give way and peace will be restored.
Rev Okpara admonished christians further to always call on Jesus Christ in any situation they are passing through, affirming that it is only Jesus name one can have peace if he allowed Him to come into the boat of their life.
The leader of the group, Evangelist Mrs Grace Egbedion, appreciated God for the success of this year,s Soul Winning Band week long celebration.
On his part, Evangelist Paul Osiohwemu, and member of the group, on behalf of all the members, appreciated Almighty God for the success of the years celebration.
The lauded every member of the church including the Resident Pastor, Rev London Ohwonigho, the Preacher Rev Okpara and other church leaders for their support and encouragement towards the successful completion of the week long celebration.
Eminent Men and women of God, such as Rev London Ohwonigho and his wife, Rev Okpara and his wife Rev Dr Mrs Onochie, Rev Mrs Igurudu, Deacon Igurudu, Barr. Fidelis Aragba, Mr Okoro Sunny and several others, were in attendance at the life changing event.
