The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Delta State chapter has commended the Chairman of the Organising Committee of the Ekiti State PDP Primary for July 2018, governorship election, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa for conducting a hitch-free party primary election.
A press statement signed by Ifeanyi Michael Osuoza, State Publicity Secretary of said the party in the state, has successfully conducted a successful Governorship Primary.
“The Party is extremely proud and thrilled that our party leader, His Excellency Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa has done it again in Ekiti State, where he once again successfully conducted the PDP Governorship primary election for the July 14 gubernatorial election in Ekiti State, as the Chairman of the Primary election committee”.
Making reerence to the December, 2017 National Elective Congress, the party said the governor had consistently proved that he is indeed good product in the PDP Family.
“Governor Ifeanyi Okowa has consistently proved that he is indeed a good product in the PDP family whose reputation and pedigree continues to grow in leaps and bounds, after re-awakening a rejuvenated PDP, when he midwived it’s hugely successful national convention, by an excellent combination of astute, articulate and strategically brilliant supervision of the national elective congress in December 2017”.
The state PDP, while commending the Organising committee for a good job, also extended the success of the primaries to the national working committee of the party, CWC, and all the aspirants, for displaying a spirit of sportsmanship in their commitment toward a peaceful, free and credible process, as they noted that the process leading to the primary was very transparent.
“We want to use this medium to extend our profound gratitude to all the members of the National Working Committee (NWC) and commend all stakeholders, particularly the aspirants, for not only displaying the spirit of sportsmanship in their commitment toward a peaceful, free and credible process, but indeed for keeping to their resolve to work together to ensure the victory of the party at the main election, irrespective of the outcome of the primary election”.
