The Special Adviser to the Delta State Governor on Infrastructure, Chief Nath Igbadi, has commended the Delta State Governor Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori for completing Isheagu/Ewulu Phase I road construction under his one year in office as Delta State Governor.
Chief Nat Igbadi who is a PDP Chieftain in Ewulu, Aniocha South LGA of Delta State affirmed that Oborevwori’s administration since inception as Governor on May 29th, 2023, has continued to ensure that his predecessor’s projects were never abandoned. The Special Adviser made this disclosure to Newsmen during the “Thanksgiving Service” of Delta State Governor as part of the activities lined up to mark his one year in office.
The Special Adviser said that his Principal, Governor Oborevwori, since assuming office, has continued to execute projects initiated by his predecessor, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Okowa, while awarding new contracts. He cited that the completed Isheagu/Ewulu Phase I road construction was awarded by the immediate past Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, and since assumption of duty, Governor Oborevwori has taken it as a matter of priority to ensure the completion and commissioning of the project within one year in office.
Speaking further, the PDP Chieftain noted that Oborevwori’s administration under one year has touched the lives of the people of the three senatorial district of the State. He confirmed that three flyover projects have been awarded to the construction giant, Julius Berger Plc within the Warri Metropolis and more funds has been injected to the payment of pensions of both state and local government retirees, as well as payment of students’ bursary amongst other achievements as part of the actualization of the MORE Agenda policy thrust of his administration.
The Special Adviser on Infrastructure, Chief Nat Igbadi has called on the people of Ewulu, Nsukwa clan and the entire Aniocha South LGA to support the Oborevwori’s administration in ensuring that Delta State reaches its enviable heights amongst other states in the south-south geopolitical zone.
Chief Igbadi, while thanking the Governor for the completion of the first phase of Isheagu/Ewulu road construction, assured the Ewulu community that the Governor will look into the award of the Second Phase of Ewulu road construction linking the busy Warri/Kwale express road.
Chief Nat said that now that first phase is completed,we look forward to his Excellency”s kind approval of the 2phase of Ewulu road to enable the community to enjoy the complete MORE Agenda and give us smooth ride to Ogwashi-Uku/Warri express road.
