Edo: Azemhe cries for help to rescue kidnapped workers of Dangote Cement Factory

The Edo State Governorship Candidate of the NNPP in the upcoming election, Dr Azemhe Azena has cried out for an increased effort at rescuing the kidnapped workers of Dangote Cement Factory who were on their way home in a Bus on Tuesday in Okpella, Etsako-East local government area of Edo state.

The Governorship Candidate who was born and raised in the community, said in a telephone conversation, that “Gunmen suspected to be kidnappers have attacked a bus conveying the workers home and that as we speak, some of the victims who sustained gun shot injuries and were rescued by the police and vigilante while others were taken into the bush are being attended to at Halimatu Musa Hospital”

Dr Azemhe Azena called for a more coordinated effort by the security personnel and anyone who may have useful information that can be of help at rescuing others who are still in the bushes with the kidnappers.

The youthful politician condemned the level of insecurity within the Okpella community in particular in recent times and called for vigilance on the part of the people while calling on the government to give more attention to this problem generally.
