The arrested suspects who allegedly kidnapped Ebikeme Clark, son of elder statesman, Chief E. K. Clark have been arraigned before a Magistrates Court in Asaba.
The suspects were brought to the court on Tuesday, April 15, 2014.
A statement issued by the Delta state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Celestina Kalu reads:
The suspects who kidnapped the elder statesman Chief E.K Clark son Chief EBIKEME Anthony on the 2/4/2014 at his own country home Kiagbodo.
The suspects are being arraigned today 15/4/2014 after the police has concluded with their investigations.
In other to prevent What occurred last month when suspects were being taken to court in Oleh not to reoccur the police applied for an assumption of jurisdiction to the CJ of Delta State to enable the police arraign them in Asaba.
They are being charged with a three count charges.

(I) Conspiracy to felony to kidnap offense punishable under section 516 (A) of the criminal code cap C 21 Vol.1 laws of Delta State of Nigeria 2006.
(ii) They did imprison one Mrs. Rose in the month of March 2014 at Aladja in Aladja Magistrate District, in such a a manner as to prevent any person entitled to have access to her from where she was imprisoned and demand #1,800’000.00 before her release. Punishable under section 3 (1) of the Delta State Anti-Kidnapping/Anti Terrorism laws No. 8 of 2013.
(iii) On 2nd April did the same imprisonment to EBIKEME Anthony Clark in such manner denied him access from discovering the place he was imprison there by coma faired Ana offense punishable under section 3 (1) of Delta State Anti-Kidnapping and Anti-Terrorism laws No. 8of 2013.
The suspects are now remanded to prisons, Ogwashi- Uku, case adjourned to 27th May, 2014
