Senior Management Staff of the Delta State Job and Wealth Creation Bureau have been charged to deplore knowledge acquired during training to improve their performance in their duties.
The Director-General of the Centre for Management Development (CMD, Abuja, Mr. Brutus Chonoko, gave the charge while declaring open a three-day training for eight members of staff from the Bureau in Abuja.
The CMD boss represented by the Deputy Director in his office, Mr. Uche Nwani advised the participants to be focused during training in order to receive value for money invested in the training and for more effective and efficient service delivery in the Bureau.
According to him, “You should all have take-home to impact on your colleagues and in your organization. I can see that you are all senior management staff and should be able to demonstrate to your junior colleagues lessons learnt to enable your organization to sponsor you or others for further training.”
Responding on behalf of the participants, the Programme Coordinator of the Skills Training and Entrepreneurship Programme (STEP), Mr. Onyeisi Nkenchor, expressed gratitude to the Chief Job and Wealth Creation Officer and the Head of the Bureau, Prof Eric Eboh, sending his staff for the training.
“We are here to develop our knowledge, skills and abilities for improved service delivery in our state. We thank the DG and the entire management of CMD. We look forward to the outcome of the training and hopefully we are ready to deploy the same to improve our performance in our jobs and the Bureau will be better for it,” he added.
