The Legislative Arm of Isoko South local government area has, passed a vote of confidence on the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) Oleh, CSP Isah Hassan during the legislative session, held at the council secretariat Oleh, Isoko South local government area of Delta State.
The Motion for the vote of confidence moved by Hon. Meeting Edobebe representing Erowa / Umeh ward, was seconded by hon. Wesley Erowo Igbudu from Oleh ward. The leader of Isoko South legislative Arm, Hon. Odho Oghenekome ruled and welcomed the DPO to the house proceedings.
Hon. Odho commended CSP Isah Hassan for effective security policing work in the local government area, noting that the hard work of the DPO overtime has reduced criminal activities in the area. He said the House was motivated to pass the vote of confidence on the DPO due to the prevailing peace and security of lives within the local government area.
Hon. Odho maintained that, the unanimous resolution for the vote of confidence on the DPO was taken during the House previous session, aimed at honoring the police boss for his gallantry and bravery, adding that the motion was moved by Hon. Dickson Osifo and was seconded by Hon. Orava.
The leader of the Legislative Arm also commended Sir Itaiko C. ikpokpo, Chairman Isoko South local government area for his doggedness and mutual cooperation with CSP Isah towards the security of lives and properties in the local government area.
While responding, CSP Isah Hassan commended the legislators for the honor even as he pledged to be more committed to the security of lives and properties of the people of Isoko South.
He said, “the honor is a seed sown today, and will aggravate me towards fighting crime to a halt”. He prayed God for more strength and enabling environment in the fight against criminals in the area.
