Blank NEWS Online can reveal that officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has today, Wednesday, November 12, 2014 arraigned the embattled Director General of Delta state owned construction intervention outfit, Direct Labour Agency (DLA), Mr. Emmanuel Edafe Igbini at the Federal High Court, Port Harcourt, over alleged multiple and gross financial misappropriation.

Recall that the embattled DG of the Delta state owned construction intervention outfit, Direct Labour Agency (DLA), Mr. Igbini has been grappling with alleged multiple and gross financial misappropriation.

Igbini, who has been severally grilled by officials of the anti-graft agency in Port-Harcourt after he failed to defend sundry claims of stealing government money worth over N3.7 Billion for intervention on 157 state roads.

Meanwhile, the state and chapter leadership of the Amalgamated Union of Public Corporations, Civil Service Technical And Recreational Services Employees (AUPCTRE) who had picketed the offices of the Direct Labour Agency (DLA) in Asaba had also accused the Director General, Mr. Emmanuel Edafe Igbini of fraud and appealed to the state Governor, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan to urgently sack him.
