*Chindah To Conduct LG Congress Saturday

The national leadership of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), has replaced the chairman of the ward and local government congress committee, Alhaji Sani Dododo for unilaterally announcing ward congress result.

Dododo announced the results of the 270 wards of the 25 local government areas of the state at the party’s state secretariat in Asaba, without the inputs of other 6 committee members and recourse to the party national leadership.

According to verifiable sources, the party replaced Sani Dododo with Hon. Emmanuel Chindah because he had allegedly acted outside the party guidelines by unilaterally announcing ward congress result without the imput of other committee members.

Others who spoke on condition of anonimity said Dododo’s replacement by the APC national leadership may have been as a result of complaints of his alleged financial compromise within and outside the party.

The source added that Hon. Chindah and other members of the committee is now charged with the conduct of the local government congress billed for Saturday.
