The chairman of Amachai youths, Okpanam in Oshimili North Local Government Area of Delta State, Comrade Emmanuel Onwudinjo Agala has reassured the people of Amachai and Okpanam community in general of his avowed commitment to advance the course of the development of the community.
Agala stated this in his residence in Okpanam during his birthday celebration with family members, friends and associates.
He said that it was a new dawn to mark another birth anniversary and appreciated God for the gift of life and other numerous blessings, stressing that he was using his birthday celebration to open his new house.
Agala hinted that prior to his election as the chairman of Amachai youths, he promised the people that he was going to pursue three critical agenda geared towards the upliftment of the area.
He highlighted the agenda to include the purchase of transformer to light up Amachai community, building of a befitting multi purpose hall (town hall) and more importantly unite his people through peace building process.
Agala explained that peace, love and unity had long returned to the community, adding that his administration had also brought constant electricity supply to the area while the already completed town hall would soon be inaugurated for use .
He used the opportunity to call on youths to engage in meaningful ventures such as skill acquisition among others so as to add value to their lives and the society at large.
In their separate remarks, the former chairman of Amachai youths, Comrade Felix Okeleke and Ogbueshi Kenny Egwuogwu described Comrade Agala as a peace loving person.
They lauded their youth chairman for being focused and resilient in the forefront of the growth and development of the community just as they urged him to continue in that direction.
Comrade Okeleke specifically recalled that after the election of Agala there was misunderstanding among the youths , saying that shortly after he took over the leadership of Amachai youths he united the two parties.
