AAU Alumni Association Lagos Branch Passes Vote of Confidence on Worldwide President

The Congree of the Ambrose Alli University Alumni Association, Lagos branch has passed a Vote of Confidence on the Worldwide President of the Association, Dr. Clifford Imade Omozeghian. This is contained in a release by the Lagos branch Publicity Secretary, Rufus Alele.

According to the release, the branch held a special historic session on Sunday 28th April 2024, where the esteemed members of the AAU Alumni Association, Lagos Chapter, convened to acknowledge and celebrate the exemplary leadership of Clifford Omozeghian⁩. In his words, “with unwavering commitment and tireless dedication Clifford Omozeghian⁩ has demonstrated his remarkable capacity to lead and unite alumni worldwide.
After careful consideration and unanimous agreement, Congress hereby formally recognizes Clifford Omozeghian as the worldwide president of the AAU Alumni Association.”

“His vision, integrity, and passion for advancing the mission of our alma mater have earned him the trust and respect of alumni across the globe.”

The release further stated that under his guidance, the chapter pledges her full support and cooperation.

In his words, “under his guidance we pledge our full support and cooperation to further strengthen the bonds of our community, foster collaboration, and promote the values of excellence, integrity, and service that define the AAU Alumni Association.”

This vote of confidence, support, and loyalty by the Lagos branch has put paid to alleged unhealthy relationships between the Worldwide President and the Lagos branch. The Alumni Association has in Lagos State both Ikeja and Lagos branches all loyal to the Worldwide President, Dr. Clifford Imade Omozeghian.

Present at the historic meeting were the immediate past president, Chris Iyere, an Ex-Officio member of the Worldwide Executive Committee, Comrade Oloni, among other distinguished members of the association.
