Basil Eleah hails from Aniocha South LGA. Though he has an NCE and trained in Tiling in the 2016/2017 STEP cycle, he has diversified to sales of bird feeds, poultry and is a point of sales agent (POS) to increase his streams of income. He is five years in business as he shares his success story.

“I am elated. I have trained one person in tiling and I have a staff member who mans my POS business when I am in the field. I practiced tiling for three years, saved some money before I diversified to sales of bird feeds, poultry and POS business.

“I went into partnership with a friend on the sales of bird feed in 2020. During training, I was taught that I could engage in more than two businesses as much as I can control.

“I have bought a plot of land. I provide well for my wife and children. STEP built my life, opened my eyes and gave me the opportunity to do well in business. As it is now, I no longer seek for a government job”
