BLESSING MAILE hails from Ika North East Local Government Area. He holds an SSCE and enrolled under Green YAGEP in the 2015/2016 Cycle in Poultry Production. Like his counterparts in the pioneer set, she was established in YAGEP Farm Cluster, Owa-Alero with a buffer starter pack, comprising 400 point of lay birds, 200 day old broiler birds, 145 bags of feeds, a well-equipped poultry pen and other technical support. Six years after, she has grown her business beyond her starter stock. Hear her.

“YAGEP has been so helpful to me and my family. My business is growing. I have 700 layers and 100 broilers at present. I have diversified to Crop production. I produce cassava, maize, vegetable, pepper and tomato in commercial quantities. I have a staff whom I pay ₦8,000.00 monthly.

“I am happy being a YAGEPreneur; if not I would have been at home as a full-time homemaker. I use the proceeds from my farm to support my husband. My family is feeding well. I have a motor bike which I bought from the proceeds. I look forward to expanding my farm.”
